NIGELLA THERAPY CLINICAL STUDY

Comprehensive study was conducted in Malaysia at Hanan Medicare Centre under a dermatologist serving as the Principal Investigator.

METHODOLOGY

  • Study Period: 12 weeks (August 2016 - January 2017)
  • Quantitative Assessment methodology: Facial skin assessment was done using VISIA Complexion Analysis equipment made by Canfield Scientific. Skin phototyping was done using the Fitzpatrick scale method. The Baumann method was used for skin typing and for measuring skin wrinkling and looseness
  • Volunteers used NT Day and NT Night for 12 consecutive weeks (84 days)
  • Volunteers visited the clinic for assessment on days 0, 14, 28, 42, 56, 70, 84 and 98

RESULTS

Overall Findings:

  • Dark Spots improved by 70%
  • Wrinkles improved by 70%
  • Skin Texture (toning and smoothness) improved by 40%
  • Pores improved by 27%

Skin type according to Baumann: Slightly Oily, Non pigmented and wrinkled skin type.

  • Spots: Significant Improvement. Percentile score* increased from 7% to a high of 19%.
  • Wrinkles: Significant Improvement. Percentile score increased from 11% to a high of 24%
  • Pores: Significant Improvement. Percentile score increased from 24% to a high of 49%
  • Texture: Significant Improvement. Percentile score increased from 9% to a high of 27%

General Observation: Complexion of skin tone visibly better and even throughout the face.

  • Spots: Significant Improvement. Percentile score* increased from 12% to a high of 82%.
  • Wrinkles: Moderate Improvement. Percentile score increased from 20% to a high of 32%.
  • Pores: Moderate Improvement. Percentile score increased from 72% to a high of 81%.
  • Texture: Significant Improvement. Percentile score increased from 48% to a high of 78%.

General Observation: Complexion of skin tone are visibly better and even throughout the face

  • Spots: Significant Improvement. Percentile score* increased from 59% to 85%.
  • Wrinkles: Moderate Improvement. Percentile score increased from 14% to a high of 32%.
  • Pores: No change.
  • Texture: Moderate Improvement. Percentile score increased from 75% to a high of 87%.

General Observation: Skin complexion and tone improved and became more even at the end of the study.

*Percentile score means that the subject’s score is better than the % of people of the same gender, age, and skin type.
